So, here we are again. I have spent the last 2.5 days in bed, weak from my last chemo treatment. But today is a new day and even though I am not 100%, I am at my desk and painting again. I will take another day of sunshine and thank you, Jesus, for another day to do what I love.

Today I am working on Cassie Brace’s “Alexis” sculpt. She is so beautiful and I hope I can do her justice. I love all of Cassie’s sculpts and this one is just precious.

I just have to share my excitement. Those who know me, know I am a huge Disney fanatic. Just being at Disney and away from the rest of the world is my happy place and always has been since I was a child. Luckily, I was fortunate enough to visit many, many times when I was little and still try to do the same. Well I woke up this morning with my husband telling me to book Disney for next year and we will be going for 10 full days. I can hardly contain my excitement. I know many never get there in a lifetime, but if you can do it, you must. There is nothing like it in the world!

Until then, I have plenty to keep me busy…like the International Doll and Teddy Show. I already have 3 dolls done, and will continue to do more including 2 beautiful silicones. If you haven’t been to this show folks, go! You wont be disappointed! The talent is amazing and you will be in awe!
